Managing YOUR expectations

Do you sometimes put too much pressure on yourself, especially at the beginning of the year?

The new year has often brought with it too many promises that we are going to change this or that & start this or that.

  • Then life happens
  • Motivation dips
  • Time is tight
  • Keeping going with the good intentions that felt great at the start are now feeling impossible to keep up.

THEREFORE the gentle truth to remember is:

  • 5 or 10 minutes IS enough
  • 5 or 10 mins of movement
  • 5 mins of stillness & breathwork
  • 5 mins of choosing differently
  • 5 or 10 minutes done CONSISTANTLY will always outweigh perfection that never begins

Your body & mind are incredibly intelligent

Once they feel the rhythm of something new, they will start to adapt.

What felt hard ….. slowly becomes familiar

What felt impossible …. begins to feel lighter
